And if they are, how can a new Win 10 OS installed less than two years contain drivers dating back to 2006? I purchased this computer a couple of months ago, and while it is quite old, its Windows 10 Pro OS is relatively new. ![]() While the computer itself might date back to 2006 (I haven't checked the manufacture date), I don't understand how it could have drivers dating back that far. I have not installed any of these drivers, as yet. It found 89, 73 of which were available without me upgrading to the Pro version. I let the software scan for out of date drivers. While I am a little cautious about downloading drivers from these 'driver specialist' sites, I created a restore point and downloaded and installed software from one of the more 'prominent' vendors. I have spent as much as two days looking for a particular driver. I wanted to update all my drivers hoping that might solve a few minor problems with my computer. ![]()
